2009 Art Summary

everyone was doing this and it looked like a great idea. I say all the time how much i'm improved this year so why not take a look.
January) A the pixel stage. I love ms paint art with like really thin lines. unfortunately... i can't draw it. so i tried with thick lines..... not the same... =w=;;
February) just a chibi nothing special. style was developing still i guess. maybe? idk lol
March) this was like my favorite chibi for the longest time. idk what it is about it i just love it. maybe the coloring or something. idk. =w=;;
April) My productive month. This is when i decided to stop being lazy. I started drawing fullbodies again and even tried backgrounds for the first time. I really challenged myself
May) This was when i really got into pokemon gijinkas. I just love drawing them. lol I also got lazy. Guess all the productivity tired me out. I refuse to just not color my work. i think my art isn't good enough to just do lineart. XD but i settles for two toned line art. lol maybe three. but never black. lol also new chibi style? chub chub chibis. XD
June) Gah i love this piece. still. lol i was trying shading more playing with it and failing but i tried. and my art looks all shiny. XD Also new eyes if you notice. they aren't as prominent in this picture but i had a lot with those lashes. lol
July) I wanted to draw swimsuits. XD with more backgrounds cause i was tired of being lazy i guess. lol i had a thread and everything. it didn't last very long though... =w=;; otl also thats a fullbody, and its actually pretty decent. just pointing that out. XD also patterns. thats the month i started downloading patterns for gimp. i used them everywhere. XD i loved them.
August) My me month. lol I was so sick and tired of drawing gaia avis all the time. i couldn't remember the last time i had just drawn a random picture for myself. so i decided to branch out. i stopped hanging out around gaia for quite some time and started drawing fan art. just what i wanted to draw. it was nice. lol best decision of my life. okay i exagerate. but it was a good decision. lol
September) still enjoiying myself. i dont draw fanart in my own style often. i usually pick a picture and copy it. like August. but i decided to do Hagu all cute here. lol worked on a background too. lol
October) okay so this is the best picture i've drawn in my life. i'm so proud of it. i worked so hard. for like weeks. longest i've ever worked on a picture. lol and the background. not just a drawn picture. and fancy background. took forever to think of something. but i want to make graphics and such so i tried. C: also. a little shading going on there. pretty good for me. XD
November) lol my story characters. fail attempt at background. after doing October i wanted more backgrounds but i just have little inspiration or know how to do them. =w=;; i tried doing thin lines on this one. i wanted detail. lol worked really hard on it.
December) This was a hard decision. This month i've been drawing a lot of traditional art. Which i don't do often. Since i got my tabby digital art has been my thing. my scanner is retarded and i tend to draw very hard so i leave a lot of marks. on the laptop i can erase as many times as i want. but in the end i settled on Hatter. lol becuase this month my new obssession is Andrew Lee Potts thanks to the amazing new movie Alice. i love it to death. and i'm going to marry him. also it does have its artistic points. XD This is my more realistic style. the face. lol thats as realistic as i get. also my new eyes. lol more cartoonish. but i like them. also go good with this style. lol look at his shirt. see the spiffy pattern. i learned how to use the clone tool on gimp. i'm so proud. so i used the original pattern off his shirt. lol lazyness. but oh well.
